Hey! It’s me! Your personal scent champion. An Olfactory CEO if you will!
“Nothing is more memorable than a smell. One scent can be unexpected, momentary and fleeting, yet conjure up a childhood summer beside a lake in the mountains…” ~ Diane Ackerman
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with fragrances. Personal fragrances, home fragrances, car fragrances, everything! I can remember being obsessed with the potpourri my mom brought home. Or the excitement I had when she mixed it up and brought home a diffuser. My mom, aunt, and grandma always smelled good. Their favorite (to this day!) is Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. Any time I catch a wiff of that fragrance, it brings back so many good memories.
Growing up, the obsession just grew. I started exploring my own scents and finding the notes that I love. My first “big girl” scent was the Pink Sugar perfume. Still, an excellent choice to wear even now! And I stumbled upon the wonderful world of Bath & Body Works and made my room smell good. Eventually, I would become a fragrance champion at ULTA during college. I discovered new scents every single day!
It wasn’t until I started having “scent talks” with my coworkers that I realized my absolute love for fragrance. And now I’ve decided to share that with you all! Scent Talks but GLOBAL!
AND WHY DO YOU WANT TO HELP PEOPLE?
Eventually, I want to give you guys fragrances created personally by me. (That’s the goal, fingers crossed!). But more importantly, I want you to fall in love with fragrances too. I tell you my favorites, you tell me yours. We will be scent buddies. Smelly friends! 🙂
SO WHAT’S THE GOAL?
To turn words, into fragrance. Simple right? lol
One of my biggest challenges is buying fragrance online. Here I want to make it easy on you. We will talk about fragrances in detail so you can hopefully smell it through the screen. Plus we (and I do mean we because I’m still learning) will figure out all the different types of fragrance products and explain them. Trust me there is wayy more than just perfume sprays!
If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
Smell you later,
